There are many interesting and innovative projects that are worth to be supported by platforms such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo. But unfortunately not all good project succeed.

Pip: GPS tracker for your pets. The name of the device speaks for itself. If you love your companion, you will probably want to buy some wearable tech for it too. And what better start can you have if not a GPS tracker?

It is true that Pip needs a design improvement, but else, it is a great problem solver for any pet owner. The collar is connected to a GPS and that means that you will be able to instantly see the location of your pet if it runs away.

The resourceful product won't have battery problems, considering that it will auto-detect if the pet is near the house and it will automatically shut down the GPS. The battery will therefore last for at least 3 months.

The project was a success, it overtook the $50,000 target and the developers said that they will be able to deliver it in June 2015.

2. Ditto is a simple yet efficient product. Ditto is a small device that you can attach to your clothes, pocket, and connect it via Bluetooth to your smartphone. You don't have any buttons, screens or anything else on this device.

Ditto will be set up through your Android device or iOS, and you can choose what Ditto should do for you. It can tell you all the important alerts that you wanted to get such as alarms, important calls or e-mails.

Not only it is comfortable to wear, but you will also be able to use it at the gym or in the pool because it is waterproof.

The device was a success considering that it achieved its $50,000 goal in no time on Kickstarter.

3. Xmetrics – It is said by Andrea Rinaldo, a former swimmer and the co-founder of the company which supported Xmetrics, that this is the best wearable tech device that you can use as a swimmer. More than that, she calls it the first activity tracker for swimmers.

The device is placed on the back of the athlete's goggles, and it will keep track of information such as the number of strokes, the time you took for a lap, efficiency, quality and moreover, it will instantly provide you with the feedback through an attached ear bud. It will be as you would permanently have a coach with you.

The project was a success because it managed to gather the $50,000 target and you will be able to get it for $125.

4. Darma – or the smart cushion. The tendency for people nowadays is to have a sedentary lifestyle. And the problem is that more and more people suffer because of this from obesity, crushed spines, difficult walking. Darma is the perfect cushion, with lots of sensors integrated within that will monitor your behavior. You will be pairing it with a smartphone and you will get the best advice for sitting properly.

This is an extremely helpful asset especially for the ones working mostly at their offices. The cushion has integrated sensors that can even tell you the degree of stress by monitoring your heart rate and will give you advice on how to get out of this condition.
